King confers dar
King Jigme Khesar has conferred dar to the leader of opposition party Tshering Tobgey amidst a function in Tashichodzong as per the Royal Prerogative under article 2.16 (a) of the constitution. After the function, Tobgey said he was overwhelmed by the honor and expressed commitment to serve the Tsa-Wa-Sum.
Threats continue
An unidentified gang of youths has attempted for physical attack on family members of Hari Kafle in Beldangi-I, Sector C/2-126 during the mid-night on June 11 citing the latter opted for the option of third country resettlement. Krishna Maya, spouse of Hari Kafle, informed that the gang repeatedly threatened her to open the door after gheroing the hut. Kafle family has strongly demanded for their security.
